The role

Smart Teachers are seeking to recruit a SEN TA/ Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a large, four form entry school in Alperton, North West London. The successful SEN TA/ Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting a child in Reception with diagnosed ASD. The child is verbal and described as having a kind nature but does need support with the class routines and learning. Previous experience working with pupils with ASD would be beneficial but not essential. After the previous Ofsted report the school has worked hard to improve standards and the current SLT have made a number of positive changes. The school caters for pupils from a diverse background. The pupils who attend enjoy their learning and the staff have high expectations of the pupils in order to help every individual achieve their potential. The school has close links to the community and parental involvement The staff are committed to providing every child with an inspiring curriculum, through personalising the learning. Requirements

To be considered for the SEN TA/SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Hold an enhanced DBS 

• Have previous experience working with children in the UK in the past 2 years
