The role

Smart Teachers are seeking to recruit a SEN TA/ Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a prestigious independent school in Hampstead. The position starts in September and will be for the duration of the academic year, with a strong possibility of being re-employed in September 2022. The school are looking to recruit a SEN TA/ Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support a boy in Year 1 with ASD. He is academically able but requires support with maintaining focus and need someone who can be a positive role model and display the correct behaviours. The successful SEN TA/ Special Needs Teaching Assistant will need to be nurturing but also able to set clear expectations.

The school is a well known and prestigious Independent school in Hampstead, Camden. The school caters for both boys and girls and class sizes are typically no larger than 18. Attainment across the school is high and behaviour is very good. The school offers impressive school grounds, with the school set in a beautiful Victorian building. Requirements

To be considered for the SEN TA/SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Hold an enhanced DBS 

• Have previous experience working with children in the UK in the past 2 years
