Do you have experience working within an SEN environment?
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Special Educational Needs Teacher to join an SEN school located in Birmingham. This school caters for students with ASD, MLD and SLD who are 11 to 19 years of age. You will be working with a mixture of students who all have varying needs. You will also be responsible for small class sizes, delivering lessons to improve skills and differing attributes.
This role will begin as soon as possible and end in July, and is on a part time basis. You will be expected to work with sometimes challenging students, so we are looking for someone with experience of working with SEN students.
The Ideal candidate –
· Will have QTS
· Highly creative in a classroom setting
· Knowledge within the education sector
· Passion for supporting the learning of children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
