This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the college’s provision for learners with Special Educational Needs. We are seeking to appoint experienced and highly motivated teachers to join our specialist team of professionals.

The School of Personalised Learning provides specialist education and support for 200+ young people aged 16-25 with moderate and complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Disabilities include physical and medical, communication and language as well as social, emotional and behaviour difficulties. Working with students you will form a key part of the range of services to support their education and preparation for adulthood.

Due to continuing growth in this highly successful department we are specifically interested in applicants who can deliver a range of academic activities to students with severe learning difficulties and disabilities. Experience of English, maths or IT delivery is desirable.

We offer an innovative and personalised curriculum and are committed to working in partnership with students, families and professionals to create positive futures. Candidates should be appropriately qualified and have prior experience of teaching students with SEN within a highly energised and vibrant department.

The successful candidate will be placed on the Sixth Form Teachers Pay Spine dependent on qualifications and experience.
