ABC Teachers are currently looking for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a school located in Birmingham. This school caters for students 3 to 19 years of age who have a range of Special Educational Needs; these needs include ASD, Complex Needs and MLD. If you are a passionate and dedicated individual who wants the best for children then we would like to hear from you. 

We are ideally looking for an individual who has previous experience of working with students who have Special Educational Needs or is driven to do so. This role will begin as soon as possible and end in July 2018; we would like the appointed candidate to be confident in their ability to support sometimes challenging behaviour. 

The ideal candidate –

·         Level 3 TA qualification

·         Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children

· In date DBS & on the Update Service 

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
