Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant  

Location: Brent  

Pay: £70-75 per day PAYE. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. To apply, candidates must have experience working with children in the UK either in the classroom or other settings. 

Contract Dates: March – July 2021

Smart Teachers is recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistant to work in the SEN provision of a ‘Good’, 2 form entry school in the London borough of Brent. The school require a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ASD with roles available in both KS1 and 2. The start date is dependent on the school reopening date and will be contracted until the end of the current academic year, with the potential for it to be extended further. The school are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant who is patient, caring and is able to use their initiative. Previous experience working with SEN is desirable but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school whose ethos is child-centred, with a strong feel of community and a tight knit team.

Requirements

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
