Are you a confident, passionate Teaching Assistant?

ABC Teachers are currently looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the Cannock area. This role will be on a full-time basis beginning as soon as possible.  

The school we are partnered with caters for students with MLD and ASD who are between 3-11 years of age – we are looking for someone with a strong understanding of a variety of needs, ideally with experience working within a similar area. 

We are looking for a caring individual, who will be able to quickly build a rapport with the pupils and support them on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups, catering for different needs. 


The ideal candidate – 

· Strong experience working with children with SEN

· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children and be creative

· In date DBS & on the Update Service     


What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child and Adult Workforce; you will need to pay for this upfront and add this to the Update Service.  At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
