SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant
Driffield, East Yorkshire
Full time - spring term - term time only
We are looking for a resilient and hardworking Primary Teaching Assistant, with experience of working with Early Years, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 (EYFS/KS1/KS2) children for a friendly primary school in the Driffield area.
The role:
This role is to deliver full time 1:2:1 support for 2 children. Each morning, you will support a child in year 1 with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and in the afternoons you will work with a child in year 4 with Autism (ASC) displaying challenging behaviour. Both children require academic and pastoral support.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience working in a primary / nursery school setting - supporting children with Special Educational Needs
- Hold a minimum Level 2 Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
