SEN Teaching Assistant - EYFS

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception with developmental language disorder. The role involves supporting the child both academically and helping to develop independence in personal care. The role is full time and linked to specific funding.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience of working with young children with special educational needs or an interest in learning and developing skills and knowledge in this area.

• A responsible & reliable person
• Confident in dealing with young people
• Able to relate well to pupils and adults

Teaching Assistant

Start date: January 2024

Contract type: Full time 27.5 hours a week (term time only)

Salary: NJC Grade 3 Scale point 5: £24,804 pro rata (term time only)

Contract term: Fixed Term – Until 31/08/2024
