Smart Teachers are recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a three year old, diagnosed with ASD. The student can display some difficult behaviours and requires personal care, due to his age.  The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted with ‘Outstanding features’. The school actively use technology to aid learning as well as following an international primary curriculum where learning is comprehensive, thematic and creative with clear and specific learning goals for every subject. This part time 1:1 SEN Teaching assistant would be required to work Monday to Friday, 9am – 12pm and would be available for an immediate start. We are looking for someone with at least one to two years’ experience with ASD and difficult behaviours.

In order to be considered for this role, the 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant will need to meet the following criteria:

• ASD Experience 

• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
