Smart Teachers is recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a brilliant school based in Lambeth. The SEN Teaching Assistant will be starting on the 2nd September 2019. The SEN Teaching Assistant will need to be available full time and be very proactive and supportive towards the students. The SEN Teaching Assistant will be assigned to work on a 1:1 basis with a girl in year 5. The girl in question has ASD and has challenging behaviour. With this, the SEN Teaching Assistant will need to have proven ASD experience and have restraint training.

In order to be considered for this role, the SEN Teaching Assistant will need to meet the following criteria:
• Experience with ASD
• Restraint training/Team Teach
• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
