ABC Teachers, part of TES, are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a generic SEN school near Loughborough. The role is part time and will begin in September 2020. 

About the role:

  • Supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome and Physical Difficutlies
  • Part time role to commence in September 2020
  • SEN Teaching Assistant under the instruction of a class teacher
  • Working with students between the ages of 4 and 19

  • The school caters for primary and secondary aged students with a wide range of special educational needs a disabilities
  • Easily accessible from Loughborough, parts of Leicestershire and Derbyshire
  • A well-established school with a wide range of specialist facilities such as multi-sensory, heated indoor pool and play therapy 
  • A strong team ethos with supportive leadership, where the needs of the child always come first.

About you:

  • Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly built rapport with students
  • Suitable qualifications to support students with SEND are desirable
  • Have previous experience working with children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities which we can reference
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check
