Hampstead Parochial is a delightful one form entry Church of England School in the heart of Hampstead.

We are looking to appoint a new SEN teaching assistant for September 2018. This is initially a 1 year fixed term post and will provide excellent development opportunities for candidates looking for experience working in schools. Duties will include 1:1 class-support and lunchtime supervision. 

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Ability to work in a team and make a positive contribution to raising standards

• A positive, pro-active approach to supporting pupils with SEND

• An enthusiastic, caring and patient person who wants to further their experience in the field of Special Education Needs.  

Applications are also welcome from graduates seeking to gain school experience before moving on to take PGCEs or other routes into the teaching profession.
