ABC Teachers are currently looking to recruit a confident Teaching Assistant for a role in a Special Educational Needs school located in the Newcastle-Under-Lyme area. We have both full and part time roles to offer in this area, both on an ongoing basis.
You will be working in a friendly and supportive school environment, helping the class teacher with daily tasks set as well as looking after the children both 1:1 and in small groups. The students are of ages 3 to 19 and the school really focuses on tailoring the education to each individual.
Due to this our ideal candidate would be someone who has had plenty of experience with SEN children as the students at this school have various learning difficulties like ASD and MLD.
The ideal candidate –
· Level 2 TA qualification
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
