We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a school located in Birmingham. This school caters for students with a broad range of Special Educational Needs; the majority of students have MLD, SLD and ASD who are 3 to 19 years old. This school is dedicated to providing outstanding support to its staff and students, developing everyone to ensure that the children achieve their full potential. 

This role will begin as soon as possible and end in July 2018, this is on a part time basis and has potential of becoming permanent for the ideal candidate. You will work alongside the class teacher, supporting students throughout their school day. We are looking for someone that has previous experience of working with Special Educational Needs students. 

The ideal candidate –

·         Level 2 TA qualification

·         Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children

· In date DBS & on the Update Service   

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
