Edmonton County Primary School is proud to serve a diverse cultural community.  We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join our expanding school.  This is an exciting time in the life of our school and a great opportunity to be part of its future.  We provide a welcoming atmosphere for our pupils, parents and families and have a happy and hardworking team.  

We are now seeking to appoint an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant who attends to children’s’ personal needs and implement a personal timetable for them. We are looking for someone with a range of proven skills and abilities, who is ambitious, passionate, committed and inspiring. Someone who will ensure that all our children have high expectations and believe that learning never stops.

In January 2014, Edmonton County became an ‘all-through’ school catering for children aged 4 to 19. As of September 2018, Edmonton County Primary Phase consists of Reception to Year 6.  This is a special opportunity - if you have endless enthusiasm and will go that ‘extra mile’ for children and families, then we would love to hear from you.

Edmonton County School is a mixed, multicultural, dual campus school with a genuinely comprehensive intake.  Our primary phase is based on our Bury Campus on Little Bury Street.

Hours:  36 hours per week (plus 1.5 hours of contractual overtime per week)

39 weeks per year

Actual Basic Salary Range (Scale 3) - 36 hours per week x 39 weeks per year = £18,969 - £19,313

Plus 1.5 hours x 39 weeks per year contractual overtime range = £791 - £805
