Are you a confident TA looking for an opportunity in an SEN school? 

ABC Teachers part of TES are currently looking to recruit a qualified Teaching Assistant to join a Special Educational Needs school in Stoke-On-Trent. 

This role will begin in September and be on an ongoing basis in a school that caters for students with ASD, MLD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and are 11 to 19 years of age. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working within an SEN environment or with children who have learning difficulties. 

You will be providing support to the class teacher as well as working with students both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis to help them develop academically. It is a very friendly school environment to work in with support offered when needed. 

The ideal candidate –

·        Level 2 TA qualification

·        Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

·        Build rapport with the children

·        In date DBS & on the Update Service  

·        Experience in an SEN setting

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
