ABC Teachers part of TES are currently seeking to recruit a confident Teaching Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school located in Telford. You will be working with children aged between 5 and 11 who primarily have Complex needs, ASD and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
This will be a full time, ongoing role starting in September, where you will be assisting the class teacher with jobs throughout the day as well as working alongside other Teaching Assistants to support the students in small groups and 1:1.
Ideally you will have proven experience in a similar role working with children with Special Educational Needs, have great communication skills, and be confident in your knowledge of various different learning difficulties.
The ideal candidate –
·Level 2 TA qualification
·Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
·Build rapport with the children
·In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
