We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a school located in Walsall. This school caters for students with MLD, SLD and ASD who are 3 to 19 years of age. We are ideally looking for someone that has been working within SEN Schools previously. 

We are ideally looking for someone that can make a real difference to young people’s lives, you will be working with students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups. This role will begin as soon as possible and end in July 2018, and is on a part time basis. 

The ideal candidate –

·         Level 2 TA qualification

·         Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children

· In date DBS & on the Update Service    

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
