SEN Teaching Assistants (Full-time only)
The Holmewood School is a small independent Special Educational Needs school meeting the needs of children with high functioning autism and Asperger’s, language & communication difficulties and SpLD.
Due to an increase in our student numbers, we are looking for dynamic, energetic, flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our small, warm and friendly team. Your role will be to support teachers with classroom practice and pupils in their academic, social and emotional learning. You will be committed to providing the best opportunities for our challenging group of learners and ensuring every child is supported to achieve their full potential.
We can offer you the benefits of working to a school calendar with a 36-week year and an excellent professional development package. The Holmewood School has two sites located in Woodside Park and Finchley Central, North London, close to the underground stations and is part of the Cavendish Group, a unique group of educational independent day and boarding schools.
We work closely with local schools and colleges, providing inclusive links. A flexible approach, a sense of humour, reliability, punctuality, stamina, resilience and the ability to work under pressure are essential to enable the best outcomes for our rewarding but sometimes challenging group of learners.
Interviews will be held at The Holmewood School, 88 Woodside Park Road, London N12 8SH.
