Smart Teachers is recruiting for two SEN TAs / SEN Teaching Assistants, with prior experience working with children  challenging behaviour on the Autism spectrum and other emotional and behavioural disorders, to join a beautiful one form entry primary school in the borough of Islington. Starting in September, there are two roles available for SEN Has / SEN Teaching Assistants on a temporary basis to start with. There is potential for these two roles to become permanent after the first term.

Working with children in small groups and 1:1

Students can be challenging physically

Temporary contract on a timesheet basis for the first term

Daily rate £75 - £90 (depending on experience)

In order to be considered for these roles, the SEN TAs / SEN Teaching Assistants will need to meet the following criteria:

Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum

Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

Previous experience working with students with Autism and behavioural disorders (essential)

Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
