About Abingdon House School

Abingdon House School is an independent day school for pupils aged 5 – 19 with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and associated social communication profiles. We offer a mainstream-style environment with an integrated programme of education, therapy, and personal development.

Our holistic approach promotes progress in learning, communication, independence, and wellbeing. Every pupil follows a personalised pathway, supported throughout the day by a multidisciplinary team of teachers, therapists, and pastoral practitioners.

Students achieve qualifications up to four GCSEs. Some transition to mainstream education or other specialist settings, while others remain with us to continue their tailored provision. We are proud to be an ISA-accredited Google Reference School. Inspected by both CReSTeD and the Independent Schools Inspectorate, we were recently awarded ISI’s highest accolade, “a significant strength,” for our highly effective interdisciplinary practice and the seamless integration of therapy into learning.
