Your new role

We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational leader to take the helm of our SEND department at the Girls’ School. You will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are fully inclusive and accessible to every student. You will lead a committed team of teaching assistants in delivering bespoke learning experiences for the SEND students at Hasmonean High School for Girls’. If you are a qualified and experienced SENDCo with proven leadership and management skills, then we would like to hear from you. You will be highly organised, knowledgeable in using data to support students and have the ability to communicate effectively with clarity and sensitivity to the school community. You will enjoy leading, and being part of a team, and can be flexible and creative in your approach.


What you'll need to succeed

  • A good degree or equivalent qualification
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • NASENCO or willingness to do the training
  • Effective and sensitive communicator to a range of audiences
  • Substantial, recent and successful experience of SEND work
  • Able to lead, develop, share and realise strategic plans for the SEND Area
  • Ability to build and maintain effective links with stakeholders
  • Ability to contribute to the recognition and effective use of the talents of the SEND team
  • Ability to plan and manage of the SEND budget
