SENCO / Assistant Headteacher

We are seeking an outstanding, experienced SENCO and teacher to join our thriving academy, Castle Hill Academy. The post-holder need not be a member of SLT and is suited to candidates with experience as a SENCO and teacher only.

We are a school with very high expectations and a relentless drive for improvement. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and committed practitioner with good SENCO and teaching experience. They will have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for raising attainment and expectations, as well as developing best practice to support pupils with SEND. The role also involves monitoring the use of the Pupil Premium, which is closely linked to our SEND provision. This is a teaching position and the post-holder will also be expected to teach to a limited timetable.
