An exciting opportunity for an SENCO to join a thriving academy.

Ark Tindal Primary Academy is a mixed, 3 to 11 non-selective primary school, which opened in September 2012 as a two form entry primary school admitting 60 children per year.

We are now seeking to appoint a SENCO to lead, develop and support effective practice for pupils with particular learning needs to ensure their needs are addressed in the most effective way and, where appropriate, they are able to make rapid progress in line with the academy’s expectations. This role is offered as a permanent contract.

Ideal candidates will:

  • have excellent leadership and management skills
  • have experience of identifying, evaluating and providing effective strategies for pupils with SEN
  • be committed to Ark’s ethos of high expectations and no excuses
  • have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils.

Ark Tindal Primary Academy is a high performing primary school with nursery situated in central Birmingham, with Key Stage 2 results consistently above national averages. and progress in the top 10% of schools nationally.

We are part of the Ark multi-academy trust and charity, which runs a network of 39 schools across the UK.   We pride ourselves on being a school at the heart of our community and participate in and organise community events throughout the year.
