As our SENCo, you will:
Lead and develop the school's SEND provision, ensuring that students' needs remain at the heart of decision-making.
Support colleagues in delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching that enables every student to access learning successfully.
Work alongside school leaders and governors to ensure the school meets its statutory responsibilities and promotes equality of opportunity for all students.
Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies to coordinate effective support and smooth transitions.
Monitor the impact of SEND provision and use outcomes to continually enhance student support and educational experiences.

Identify training needs and support staff in developing their knowledge and understanding of SEND.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to the school's SEN Information Report, ensuring provision remains responsive and effective.
Also, this role will include a teaching commitment depending on the needs of the school.
Who We're Looking For

The ability to lead, motivate, and support colleagues to deliver outstanding outcomes for students.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a genuine ability to build positive relationships with students, families, staff, and external partners.
This is far more than a leadership position. It is an opportunity to be a trusted advocate for students, support families, nurture staff development, and help shape a school community where every student feels understood, supported, and able to flourish.
