Bishop Barrington School have an exciting opportunity for a special educational needs coordinator to join our team in September 2021. We are looking for an outstanding, committed and motivated candidate that is confident in developing and implementing whole school strategies to improve and maintain high standards of provision for all students. The post holder will provide strategic direction for the work of the school and secure high-quality systems and processes, to ensure an outstanding provision enabling all students to enjoy their learning, progress and achieve.

A £10 million new school building was completed and opened in September 2020 resulting in an outstanding learning environment offering state of the art facilities. There are floodlit, LTA standard, tennis courts and sports facilities that are second to none. Located in the heart of the historic town of Bishop Auckland situated 12 miles northwest of Darlington and 12 miles southwest of Durham City, Bishop Barrington School is easily accessible via road or public transport networks.
