Are you a SENCO seeking a school where you will be making a difference in students’ lives? Then Smart Teachers wants to hear from you. This four form entry ‘Good’ school based in Southall (UB1) is looking to recruit a creative and inspiring SENCO. As the SENCO you will be overseeing an HLTA and the running of the school’s intervention programme. This is a full-time position starting in January 2017 and will be contracted until end of the academic year with the possibility of becoming permanent.

In order to be considered for this SENCO role you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a SENCO qualification or the equivalent, or have significant experience in a SENCO role
  • Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Have a commitment to inclusive education
  • Have proven experience as a SENCO, or the equivalent in a UK-based setting
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
