We are looking to recruit an experienced SENDCO with passion and enthusiasm to lead the provision for our SEND children across the school, including those within our newly established SEND unit. The position will be full time, non-teaching; enabling the successful candidate to work with staff, parents and professionals in order to provide the very best outcomes for pupils and ensure the curriculum is accessed appropriately and effectively.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have a NASENCO qualification or currently completing the qualification
- Be a highly skilled teacher with high expectations for pupil outcomes
- Be committed to collaborative working
- Put pupil voice at the heart of all decision making
- Understand the importance of raising attainment and developing excellence
- Have knowledge of identifying, evaluating and providing effective provision for pupils with SEND
- Have the resolve and enthusiasm to make a real difference to the lives of pupils
- Have strong understanding of applying for EHCPs and conducting annual reviews
- Be innovative, solutions-focussed and resilient
