Bushey Meads School (BMS) is an 11-18, oversubscribed, successful mixed comprehensive specialist technology college at a very exciting time in its development. It is part of the Bushey St James Trust, an innovative and exciting Multi-School Academy Trust formed in February 2012. It is committed to continuous improvement and creativity across the curriculum.
We are now looking to recruit an outstanding SEN Coordinator to lead, develop and support effective practice for students with identified barriers to their learning. In this crucial position you will use a dynamic skill set as you support learners’ progress, work closely with families and play an important staff development role. You should be confident with using data to evaluate the impact of support and interventions. You will lead a large team co-ordinating the high quality support and intervention, which enables each learner to achieve his or her full potential.
The ability to teach literacy or numeracy is desirable but not essential.
