Huddersfield Grammar School seeks an inspirational SENCO to lead its Learning Support Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in further enhancing the quality of its provision, by leading a high performing Learning Support team and promoting excellent academic progress and well-being for its pupils.

Huddersfield Grammar School is thriving and now comprises of over 540 students, from the Early Years to Year 11, with classes sizes typically limited to a maximum of 20 pupils per class. Candidates for the SENCO post should illustrate a capacity to propel pupils to excellent academic progress and have a keen awareness of how to get the very best from students of different abilities. 

As part of a well-regarded independent school, the post-holder will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school, as well as a strongly held conviction that every child can achieve high academic standards with appropriate support.
