At VIPS East Borough, we are very proud of our inclusive environment and curriculum. We are looking for a special person who can continue to develop the amazing provision we have for pupils with SEND. 

The role of SENCO is a highly valued one within the school and Trust. You will lead a small team of specialist SEND TAs who deliver learning and interventions to our SEND pupils. The SENCO will also support and advise teachers in the classroom to ensure that the quality first provision is of the highest standard.

 The ideal candidate will:

  • have excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • be able to model best practice
  • have the ability to lead a team
  • be knowledgeable about different areas of SEND
