SENCO required for September 2019
TLR 2c - £6,483 per annum
We are seeking to appoint an innovative and highly effective SENCO with experience at Secondary level, who will lead, develop and manage a high standard of provision for learners with additional educational needs. You will be committed to ensuring that the standards of attainment are high and that students make accelerated and sustained progress.
The successful candidate will develop the specialist provision for students with identified SEND, support teachers to differentiate their lessons and ensure that the legal and statutory requirements are met for students with AEN. You will hold the National Award for SENCO and have a detailed working knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and experience of delivery within this framework. This would suit an experienced SEN teacher looking for their first management role.
