Job overview

The Eveline Day & Nursery Schools is a family run business which has been operating for over 54 years in the South West London area, employing close to 250 staff throughout 7 Nursery branches and a preparatory day school catering for children from 3 to 11 years old.

Our aim over the years has been to provide excellent care and education for our children. We provide stimulating and warm environments and offer the highest standard of service to all.

We believe that learning is a joyful and rewarding experience and we encourage our students to aspire to high academic standard and achievement, whilst supporting those children who may find learning more challenging.  We believe that every child can be the best they can be at Eveline Day School.

The students have a wealth of learning opportunities through a broad and balanced curriculum including residential trips from the age of seven, which help the children to develop independence and make decisions. The school is renowned for its creativity in music and drama and we believe that these skills build on self-esteem and confidence. Sport and high quality nutrition are an integral part of our school day. The school has an extended day and the children benefit from many extra-curricular activities.

The safety, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of the children is paramount to our ethos and the children use their initiative, take responsibility for their actions and make decisions about their own futures. ‘Pupils have very positive attitudes towards learning, they are highly motivated and very keen to deepen and broaden their knowledge’ (Ofsted 2017).

Our aim is to provide the children with a challenging learning environment in which academic stretch and pastoral support are always entirely personal and age appropriate. We aim to guide each child to achieve their full potential and celebrate individual development and knowledge.
