Manor Drive Academies are brand new schools located in the north of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The Academies are made up of a Nursery (3-4 year olds), Primary School (currently Reception, and Year 1 only) and a Secondary School (currently Year 7 and 8 only), situated on the same site.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in a brand new school which will give the successful candidate the unique chance to work with both primary and secondary students. Manor Drive is an ideal place to enhance your career, in a small team with high expectations.  Whilst being innovative and dynamic Academies, we have traditional values and high standards both for our students and staff. Staff are extremely supportive with ambitions of exceptional outcomes for all.  An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Manor Drive Academies to lead our thriving and excellent Inclusion Departments from January 2024. The successful candidate will ensure we deliver the highest quality of education, range of opportunities, standards of achievement and attainment for our SEND students.

 WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:

 ·        Have a range of experience working with children with complex needs.

 ·        Be a strong leader who is committed to providing the highest standards of provision for SEND students by supporting colleagues, parents and students.

 ·        Be experienced in rigorous tracking and monitoring of children’s progress, identifying needs and implementing effective strategies.  

 ·        Be experienced in working within the SEND Code of Practice as a SENCo or teacher.

 ·        Be an excellent communicator, with a strong commitment to working in partnership with parents, Governors and the community.

 ·        Have or be willing to complete the programme to gain the National Award for SENCo (NASENCO)
