The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated SENCO to lead and manage Special Needs provision across the school. St Joseph & St Teresa Catholic Primary School is a well-established school with a strong Catholic ethos and enthusiastic children who enjoy learning.
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to build positive relationships with parents, teachers, children, other staff and professionals
• Have a good understanding of the new SEND code of practice
• Be an experienced teacher
• Be committed to high standards in all that they do
• Have high expectations of all children
• Have great communication and organisational skills
• Be able to lead, manage and motivate
• Have experience of working with children with a wide range of additional needs
• Be committed to the safeguarding of children and promoting of equal opportunities
