This role will be based across our Leeds City College Campuses.

WHAT WE DO 

We are a specialist department within a large educational establishment, ensuring that as a college we meet the support needs of all of our students, work with parent, carers, many multi-agency teams and young people to support the specific support needs documented in EHCPs in order to help young people fulfil their educational potential. We are looking to recruit someone with excellent administration skills who can support the SEND team to effectively support the students and their families.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Support the department to ensure access arrangements for examinations and registrations with awarding bodies are accurately submitted.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate recording of EHCPs and correspondence from the Local Authority onto college systems, whilst liaising with the Local Authority regarding funding information and recording this onto spreadsheets.
  • Assist the SEND team in organising and recording of all EHCP reviews in a timely manner.
  • Produce meeting invite letters, sending e-mails as required with the relevant documentation, and attending reviews as required.

 

YOUR PROFILE 

You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be able to work under pressure and have excellent IT skills. Good communication skills both written and verbal are essential.
