Job overview
The role
We are seeking to appoint a SEND Administration Assistant to provide professional, confidential and highly efficient administrative support to the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and the wider Inclusion team.
This role plays a key part in ensuring that all statutory processes relating to pupils with SEND are managed effectively and that accurate, timely information is available to support students with additional needs. You will be responsible for maintaining and managing SEND records, coordinating and administering the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Annual Review process and supporting the organisation of SEND-related meetings across the school.
In addition to this, you will act as the first point of contact for SEND-related enquiries from parents, staff and external agencies. The role also involves supporting the transition of SEND students joining or leaving the school, working closely with other schools and external professionals to ensure the secure and accurate transfer of information and records.
