SEND Class Teacher

Wyvil Primary School is an exciting and innovative school situated in the centre of London, based across three buildings. We have two mainstream sites with integrated resource base classes for children with Autism and Speech and Language needs, and an Autism Resource Base in Kennington.

We are looking to appoint an ambitious, knowledgeable and committed SEND Teacher to work within our Autism Resource Base classes.


As a SEND Teacher, you will:

 

  • deliver best practice and support your class team to deliver exceptional learning opportunities for children with Autism, through a variety of Autism specific approaches.
  • have consistently high expectations of yourself and your team so that behaviour, inclusivity and children’s learning are of the highest standard;
  • use your initiative to support and challenge all children and adults;
  • contribute effectively to the wider Autism Resource Base staff team.
  • provide all children with a tailored curriculum, modified and adapted to meet their SEND needs.
  • be prepared to work flexibly and collaboratively.
  • monitor and track pupil progress, providing interventions as needed
