Job overview
As a College group we have an increasing number of learners requiring high needs support funding and so require a second Commissioning Officer to join the current officer and Commissioning Manager. You will play a pivotal part in negotiating funding from local authorities on behalf of the College as well as co-ordinating consultations and EHCP reviews on behalf of colleagues in the team. You will be based at South Thames College, Wandsworth with some travel to other colleges in the group.
You must have a proven track record of working successfully in SEND in a local authority, school or post-16 educations, and an excellent working knowledge of the SEND Children and Families Act 2014 Part 3. You will have excellent organisational and negotiation skills and the ability to successfully manage high volumes of data including using Atlas database.
