We are looking for an exceptional teacher to join our team and lead on SEND provision. Victoria Park Primary School is an excellent school with children who are motivated and eager to learn.  We are committed to making a positive difference to children’s lives and have a strong ethos of care and respect.  Our children get on well with each other and staff.  We are a supportive team and work together closely to ensure children receive the best possible opportunities. We are looking for someone to join our team who:

● Is an outstanding teacher with high expectations of children’s attainment and progress.

● Has substantial experience of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities and can help them to achieve academically and personally.

● Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support colleagues.

● Can work effectively with all stakeholders, particularly parents.

● Has a sound knowledge of the SEN code of practice.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support writing statutory assessment requests, learning and support plans etc.

● Preferably holds the SENDCO qualification but we would be willing to support the right candidate to undergo the training.

You will need to be creative, resilient, have a good understanding of how children learn and be able to form excellent relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues. You will be patient, flexible and resourceful, and able to support the school’s ethos and values.
