We are looking for an experienced SEND Co-ordinator to join our successful department who can create a nurturing environment within SEND where everyone can reach their full potential.  The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Accredited SEND leadership qualification
  • Experience of leading on SEND in school and working knowledge of the current SEND code of practice
  • Experience of leading on staff development
  • Experience of multi-agency coordination
  • Proven ability to deliver good teaching
  • Evidence of strong organisational and planning skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Proven ability to analyse, use and present data to a wide audience

The Ninestiles Academy Trust comprises Lyndon itself, Ninestiles School, Cockshut Hill School and four primary schools with the Sixth Form College Solihull set to join the trust in August 2017.  The Trust’s commitment to excellence is recognised nationally and internationally. All schools work in partnership with the Ninestiles Teaching School to support in staff development, which further extends the scope of opportunities for career advancement in working with other schools. It has over ten years of experience as an accredited centre for Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) and is recognised by Ofsted and in The Good Teacher Training Guide as delivering strong provision.
