Our school is looking for highly motivated and committed individuals who are passionate about supporting students with Additional Learning Needs to achieve their full potential throughout their time at Havant Academy. Whether you are experienced within SEND or looking for a career change, you will be enthusiastic, hardworking and energetic.
The support you will provide students with will come in a variety forms such as in classrooms, group interventions, one to one interventions, mentoring, supporting with Exam Access Arrangements and encompass both academic and pastoral needs.

In addition to this, as a SEND Keyworker you will be invited to all of our Teaching and Learning CPD sessions which will provide you with the essential skills to work within the classroom environment.
Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm, Friday 8am - 3:30pm, 40 weeks per year (term time + 1 additional week).
This role would be suitable for a graduate or someone considering a career in teaching as you will be able to build positive relationships with students and gain valuable classroom experience.
