Job overview

We are looking for a talented, dynamic and highly effective teacher to become a SEND Lead Practitioner at Rise@GHC. This specialist unit serves pupils aged 11-19 with high functioning autistic spectrum conditions living in Bracknell Forest and other local authorities. The centre is part of Garth Hill College, but operated in dedicated buildings within a twelve minute walk and three minute drive of the main Garth Hill site. We were recently rated ‘good’ by Ofsted in May 2019.

You will be an excellent practitioner with a proven track record of success. The successfully appointed person will lead a range of high quality professional development activities, including training delivery, coaching, mentoring and outreach support, as well as leading the development of teaching and learning.
