Job overview

SEND Schools based in Middlesbrough are currently seeking enthusiastic Special Needs Learning Support Assistants. Within this role you will be working either 1:1 or with small groups of pupils aged between 5-15 years old who suffer with either Social, Emotional or Mental Health issues. 

The Schools' Ethos is to provide the highest quality education and care to ensure all pupils are developed to their full potential academically, vocationally and socially and your role is to ensure this is followed at all times with any child you support.  

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for working with children, particularly those with Social, Emotional and/or mental health issues. A background in Education is not a necessity but you will have experience working with children, ideally those with challenging behaviour, Autism, ADHD, Asperger's, Mental Health issues and/or social & emotional issues.
