An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and compassionate Practitioner to join a hardworking and dedicated team within a high achieving and oversubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a practitioner, you will work directly with small groups of students to overcome barriers to learning and provide expert support, guidance and interventions tailored to their needs. This is a newly created role and as such provides a fresh and exciting opportunity for an engaging and self-motivated individual.

St. Mary’s is a popular and highly successful school situated on the North-West fringe of Leeds, close to the Yorkshire Dales. The school is part of the Bishop Wheeler Catholic Academy Trust which consists of 2 high schools and 14 primary schools. The June 2019 Section 48 judged St Mary’s as an outstanding school and the March 2025 Ofsted inspection judged St Mary’s to be outstanding in all areas.
