An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an outstanding and experienced SEND teacher to join our thriving and successful Trust in the Inclusion Department at Langdon Academy.

Langdon has consolidated its position as a very successful school, but that’s not enough. The other school within the Multi-Academy Trust (Brampton Manor Academy) is one of the highest performing schools in England and it is our collective responsibility to match that standard. Happily, with excellent staff in all departments, we’re making great strides forward and are now looking for an outstanding Deputy SENDCO, with some evidence of successful leadership already, to join us in that pursuit.

Langdon Academy is a large 4-16 school, with over 1700 students in the secondary phase, and is part of Brampton Manor Trust, along with Brampton Manor Academy (an outstanding 11-18 Academy).

The person we are seeking to recruit to this key role within the Inclusion Department is:

  • An ambitious, hardworking and experienced SEND professional with QTS;
  • SpLD qualified to AMBDA Level 7;
  • Already on or ready to start the National SENCO Award.

Langdon has a large Inclusion Department and has always placed great importance on high quality SEND provision. As an academy with a Resourced Provision for students with ASD, and with many vulnerable students in need of bespoke support throughout the school, it is important that our SEND provision is a model of excellence.

If you are a SEND specialist with the qualifications, knowledge and skills to engage our students and strengthen our already strong staff team, we would like to hear from you.

The scale of Langdon, the fact that it also has a primary phase and an ASD Resourced Provision, alongside its membership of Brampton Manor Trust provides considerable opportunity for the continuing development of the successful applicant.

Please visit our websites at or to apply and obtain further details about this role. All completed application forms must be sent by email to

Brampton Manor Trust is committed to the safeguarding of children. Enhanced DBS checks will always be carried out on new employees.

Please note: Interviews will take place on a rolling basis, as applications are received
