SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant required Spring Term 2023

35 hours Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30- term time only

Salary: Inner London Scale 5 pts 12-15 (FTE £29,364-£30,852)      pro rata £25,156-£26,431

 

We are looking for a professional with a strong understanding of SEND to join our successful and supportive team. The main purpose of this role is to work alongside both our specialist SEND and mainstream teachers in supporting and delivering learning support for our pupils with a range of SEND needs. This role will involve working with students aged 2 up to post 16.

 

This will involve

●     collaborating in planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for pupils

●     creating bespoke resources for children with complex needs

●     recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development within our bespoke database

 

You will need:

●     An understanding of how to support children and young people with a range of SEND needs

●     To be passionate about working with young people in a multi-disciplinary environment within a hospital

●     To enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-quality environment that embraces change

●     Experience of working in a special school or units attached to mainstream schools
