Job overview
ABC Teachers are seeking an experienced SEND Teacher, skilled at teaching classes for students with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities, such as Autism and other associated conditions. You will be confident in working with primary and/or secondary aged students and will plan and deliver engaging lessons according to learner’s educational needs.
The minimum training, experience and qualifications for this role are: a suitable teaching qualification (such as a PGCE, BEd, DipEd) and experience teaching in the UK or in a country with similar curriculum.
Requirements
To be considered for the SEND Teacher position, you will:
- Have previous experience teaching children with special educational needs, including ASC and behavioural challenges.
- Be suitably qualified to teach students with special educational needs and have QTS.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly built rapport with students.
- Able to obtain suitable references and DBS check.
