This is an opportunity for talented teachers, with a minimum of two consecutive years’ experience in a special school, to develop their teaching in a truly unique setting. We are looking to appoint individuals with a positive outlook and a proactive attitude.

‘Leaders and governors recognise the dedication of staff. They make sure their well-being is prioritised. Staff are extremely, and rightly, proud to work at the school. ●     highly adaptive, personalised teaching, planning and assessing

●     teaching small groups or individuals based on the wards

You will quickly see that you are applying to an extremely creative, successful school with a clear ethos of achievement, continuity and enjoyment for our truly exceptional pupils. Please consider what interests and skills you can bring to our curriculum offer outside of your subject area.

‘Teaching staff are highly trained in working in a hospital environment. This includes knowing how to adapt learning to meet a range of medical needs, as well as supporting those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff liaise with pupils’ healthcare professionals and with the pupils themselves. This ensures that learning is always a high priority.’ OFSTED Nov ‘23
